The Way of the Gods, La Via degli Dei (from Bologna to Florence): a journey gives you exactly what you need, you just have to take the first step. The first time on a pilgrimage is can’t be forgotten. It is an inner journey first of all, facilitated (or dismantled) by the weight of the backpack, the kilometers, the encounters and the “magical circumstances” of findings and signs along the path.

Basilicata coast-to-coast, Day 1

From the Ionian to the Tyrrhenian Sea, two and a half days, 192 km, climbed up for 4120 m, a mix of intense emotions that slowly collected during my first solo trip from the Ionian Sea coast, precisely from Policoro (MT), to Tyrrhenian coast, in Maratea (PZ).

In this article I will tell you what happened during the first day, I will you details on the chosen routes, the altitudes and the gpx tracks.

Basilicata coast-to-coast, Day 2

The second day of cycling alone, trying to end up to the opposite coast of my region, Basilicata, in the South of Italy.

From Chiaromonte (PZ) to Trecchina (PZ), passing through abandoned and disused roads among some hamlets of Latronico and Lauria.

Approximately 75 km, climbing up for 1650 m.
